Michael is a Director and works on the Portfolio Strategy and Quantitative Research team headed by François Trahan. Prior to joining Wolfe Trahan in 2010, Michael spent over three years as a managing director at International Strategy and Investment Group (ISI). During his time at ISI, Michael worked closely with Trahan in building the Portfolio Strategy and Quantitative Research products. Institutional Investor magazine ranked the team’s Portfolio Strategy work as number one in four of the past five years and third in the quantitative research category in 2009.
Michael began his career in equity research at Merrill Lynch & Co. where he spent over two years working on a top-ranked small-cap research team. He holds a B.S. in Financial Economics from Binghamton University and is also a CFA charterholder.
