Tim is a Vice President and Senior Analyst at Wolfe Trahan & Co. covering the Auto & Truck Manufacturers and Suppliers. Prior to launching coverage of the Auto & Truck sector on April 8, 2010, Tim specialized in the Trucking subsector as a Senior Research Associate for Ed Wolfe for about two years at Wolfe Trahan & Co. and prior to that for about two years at Bear Stearns & Co. His Trucking coverage and expertise includes Truckload, Less–Than–Truckload, Truck Leasing and Truck Brokerage, as well as coordinating macroeconomic and freight data.
Before joining Bear Stearns, Tim began his career in equity research at the Prudential Equity Group, where he started in March 2002 covering the auto industry as a Research Assistant. After two years covering automotive manufacturers and suppliers, Tim was promoted to Associate Analyst where he helped launch coverage of seven auto retailers. He later joined the economics team where he sharpened his ability to interpret the impact of economic cycles on financial markets.
Tim earned a B.B.A. from James Madison University with an Economics major, Finance minor, and Financial Economics concentration..
