New York, NY — Wolfe Research, LLC, a premier investment research boutique, announced today that going forward the firm will be known as Wolfe Trahan & Co. The move reflects the addition of François Trahan — ranked top Wall Street investment strategist by Institutional Investor magazine — who recently joined the firm and will serve as Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Strategist. Wolfe Trahan will focus on portfolio strategy, quantitative analysis and transportation research, and plans to expand into additional industry groups over time. Mr. Trahan will host his inaugural conference call for institutional clients on Wednesday, March 10th.
Commenting on the name change, Ed Wolfe, founder of the firm said, “Wolfe Research has become synonymous with superior transportation research.
